PROMENADES AND EXCURSIONS : The very privileged position of the farmhouse offers many interesting routes to discover. These areas, indeed, faunally protected, are populated by pheasants, hares, bucks and many others animals.Some itineraries can be travelled over on food or by bicycle, others  by car along white roads that lead to ancient Pievi and medieval towns, as the route  from Montepuciano to Monticchiello.

BY BICYCLES: The farmhouse rents mountain bikes and tandems for trips in the towns of Montepulciano or along the roads that start from the country house. For the serious cyclists  the Val d'Orcia is one of the most spectacular places and in particular the roads among Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza.

THE WINE AND TASTE ROAD: The wine lovers have at their disposal many itineraries, or there are many trips that can be organized, at the sign of history, good food and nature. A few kilometres away, places like Pienza, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni, Siena, Monticchiello...can be visited.

WOOD-BURNING OVEN AND BARBEQUE: They are at guest's disposal to organize barbeques and cook dishes according to the ancient Tuscan tradition

   

SWIMMING POOL: A big private swimming pool, framed among century-old olives, is at guest's disposal, open from May 30, to September 30. 

TENNIS TABLE, TABLE FOOTBALL, AND NATURE ROUTE: near a lake a route with sports equipment has been developed to keep oneself in practice outdoors.

   

SALE OF FARM PRODUCTS: in one of the annexe  of the farmhouse a little tasting room as been established, where it is possible to taste and purchase the products of the farm.

GOLF: Also for golfers, Tuscany offers numerous possibilities: exclusive courses, located in fascinating positions combines the pleasure of the game with the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The nearest golf course to the farmhouse is GOLF CLUB ESSE (www.golfesse.com), reachable following the directions for Bettolle, less than 10 km away. This course, recently enlarged and open all the year, offers 9 holes, driving range, puttingreen, pichgreen, practicing bunker, renting golf bags and trolleys pro-shop and a vinery in Tuscan style.

In the area there are numerous other courses:

- the beautiful PERUGIA GOLF CLUB 18 holes, not long but very tricky and amazing, a club house converted from an old furnace, swimming pool, restaurant, pro-shop (www.golfclubperugia.it); 

-ANTOGNOLLA GOLF CLUB 18 holes, riding ground, two outdoor and one indoor swimming pools, restaurant (www.antognolla.com);

THERMAL BATHS: One of the most well-know thermal bath in Italy is situated 15 km from the farmhouse, it is Chianciano Terme, which waters flow from four springs with different mineralization. It is possible to choose among many treatments among which the balneotherapy, inrigations, inhalationsand the application of thermal mud baths.

Remember also Bagno Vignoni, located on a table land at an altitute 0f 300 metres, which thermal waters, that flow at 52°, werw already frequented by Caterina da Siena and Lorenzo il Magnifico.
